Having read all of Ms. Rayne's previous novels, I had to purchase her latest. I have to say that this has to be her best to date. Her two main characters, Robert and Hilary, are thoughtful, interesting and not too rattled by pretty much anything (including wandering ghosts and insane coworkers). They also find themselves drawn to each other but it's very subtle and is a very prescient portion of the storyline. Ms. Rayne weaves basically two story lines together to introduce the Tarleton theater to the reader and to impart why the theater has been closed for almost ninety years. Her storytelling is ingenious and well plotted. Can't wait for her next novel to appear. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
