Official Review from a Child's Point if View

"Ginger" is the story about a Golden Retriever who was born in a puppy mill. At a young age, she was separated from her mother and her siblings. She was adopted by a family with a young boy. But the child was only a toddler. While Ginger was playing with the boy, he hit Ginger and Ginger nipped him. Ginger was then given to a shelter. A very nice man adopted her then. But he was called away for his mother was very ill. He never came back. He hired a dogsitter. To the dog the dogsitter was a tyrant! Yelling, not taking her for daily walks, and making a show while cleaning after Ginger's business. One day the dogsitter didn't come back. Ginger escaped through the window and, not meaning to, joined a stray dog clan. She was rescued by one of the nice ladies from the shelter. Ginger was then given to a special clinic. A nice man there made sure that all dogs and cats at the clinic went to good homes. She was adopted by a family with a nine year old boy. Ginger even saved him from almost being drowned. Their next door neighbor was also nine and a girl. At the end of the story she gets a dog and it is Ginger's brother! Ginger has finally found her fur-ever family.
