Girl Factory is an engaging and original. Some of the other reviewers have seen it as a commentary on the objectification of women, but I think a more apt theme is how we are all limited by circumstance, and live in suspended animation. The well-meaning and immature protagonist finds himself in absurd situations and attaches to himself the responsibility for rescuing others. All the experiments (and emotions that go along) are a perfect allegory for a young man's confusion while he sorts out how to treat women. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
