These doctors push through all the nonsense in the media, entertainment industry, and consumer pitches that make girls start thinking about being 'sexy' even in grammar school. They have a wealth of knowledge to share because they obviously really listen to their patients. I love their assertion that they've never had a patient tell them that she wished she had had sex earlier, but they hear patients say every day that they wish they had waited to have sex. Maybe they'll write a book for parents! I'd make sure parents read this book WITH their girls. It's full of very accurate explanations of sex, body parts, and sexual activities other than intercourse. Lots of stuff I want to be available to further explain to my daughter (or shield her from for the time being.)

Excellent Resource for pre-teens & teens
I purchased this book for my 11 yr old grand-daughter. She is an avid reader and has found the book to be interesting and a great resource. After reading sections, she discusses it with her mom and any questions or concerns she has are addressed at that time. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
