I Also Recommend:
Glengarry Glen Ross
This was an excellent play. I have been wanting to read something by David Mamet for a long time and this is the first play of his that I have seen or read. His dialogue was really great and Glengarry Glen Ross was a great short read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Living on the Edge
When I first read the book Glengarry Glen Ross, it seemed to be a bit boring and rather hazy to understand as far as the them is concerned. But with the second reading, things startd to get clarified. And in the third time i thoroughly enjoyed the play entirely. And that's where David Mamet is successful. Through the mist of thoughts and manipulation of speeches, he has actually played with the minds of the readers very nicely. it's really amazing how he threads his thoughts to develop his plot.

They Just Like Talking To Salesmen
Glengarry Glenross is an incredible piece of modern literature, and arguably one of the greatest plays of the last thirty years. Focusing on the trials and tribulations of a group of hard-luck real estate hustlers, Mamet fires nonstop volleys of blistering dialogue in every line. The central themes are masculinity (price, competitiveness and bravado) and emasculation (shame, fear and hoplessness). I also highly recommend the movie, which features perhaps the greatest assembled cast of the last twenty years - every actor a heavyweight. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
