    Amazing, Interesting, and Informative

I truly enjoyed this book. I found it very interesting. This book contains information about 8 women whom you never learned about in history class. I recomend this book to everyone, expecially those who enjoy history. This book was fun to read and I didn't want to put it down. Read this if you want to learn about more than just the men who had an important role in the American Revolution.

    A little disappointing

I loved the idea of this book, but when it came down to it, I didn't actually like the book. The author of the book seemed to waver between writing a fiction novel and a non-fiction novel, which I found immensely irritating. But I did learn quite a bit from the book, I'd never heard of half the women she wrote about and I enjoyed reading their stories. So in the end it wasn't the idea of the book that bothered me, it was the author's style of writing. Despite my annoyances, I would recommend this book to all young women because it holds an important message for them.

A great read - both informative and interesting

Learning about these women is so important for everybody, especially for women today and in the future. They prove that women, when they have the courage to speak their minds and the strength to take action against even the most daunting of enemies, have the power to do great things. Let us not forget to not only teach these lessons of strength to our own daughters, but remember to create an environment in which they can grow up believing that they too possess the power to move even the greatest of mountains.
