    Very good

If you like fantasy and comedey this is a very clever twist. About an elite band of evil goblin soildiers as they take on many challenging tests and cuss like a 14 year old almost every conversation they have. A very great funny read.

    Great humorous story telling.

This was probably the most entertaining book I've ever read. The sarcasm bleeds from the pages; it's great!

Worth a look - but "Grunts" does this better (and funnier).

The Goblin Corps is a World War II movie set in fantasy land. You know, the movie with one member of every possible ethnic derivation exhibiting stereotypical behaviors while suffering and dying for a noble cause. Well, switch out ignoble for noble and you've got this book.
It's not bad, just very, very predictable.
Worse, this theme has been done brilliantly (if obscenely) by Mary Gentle in her book "Grunts". Buy that one.

    Great funny story!

This was a great fantasy story told by the evil side, filled with sarcastic humor, readers will love it!

Spoiler: The book was very funny at times. It was nice reading about a bunch of evil goblins trying to get thru missions without killing each other. The only thing I didn't like was the ending. I didn't think Belrotha should have found the "crown". I would have thought Gork would have found it, greedy little kobold that he was. I wasn't suprised that Craeosh was killed by Katim, I was disappointed that Jhurpress "his friend", Gork, & Belrotha didn't kill her in turn knowing that it was only a matter of time before she decided to add them as her "servants". Mr. Marmell did a great job & I look forward to checking out some of his other works.
