Emotionally Uplifting and Inspirational

I received this book three days ago; I couldn't wait to read through it. Some stories brought me to tears while others made me smile. Jennifer Skiff has done an amazing job of editing the 138 different personal experiences sent to her. It was quite a task! From beautiful rainbows appearing in a dark and dreary sky, to out-of-body experiences, healings, and 'quiet hugs' given through a voice from above, you'll find yourself comforted and wanting to read more. It's truly a book about God and Divine intervention. I believe everyone, sooner or later, will have a 'God Story' of their own...just listen for it.

Jennifer Skiff's "God Stories" touches the Heart

"God Stories" by Jennifer Skiff is a beautiful and poignant collection of inspirational stories that open our hearts and touch our spirit. I enjoyed her book so much that I invited her to be on my radio show, "Going Beyond Medicine". I have and will continue to recommend this book, as it brings us closer to understanding that we are never alone, even when we think we are. Touching and memorable.

Inspirational, But Not Quite as Advertised

Jennifer Skiff's claim that each story here is one "that proves God exists" is a bit hyperbolic. True, many of the experiences seem genuinely spiritual in nature, but others could be explained away by coincidence or simple emotional response. Nevertheless, the stories are all moving, and those interested in reading of others' personal experiences with spirituality will find this rewarding.

A Very Good Read

The stories are compelling and gets you thinking about your own encounters. It renews your faith and gives you peace. It's a book you definitely will want to share with others.

When in Search of peace...

I have had this book for a little over a year, now. I use it as a gentle reminder and stablizer for the ups and downs of my life. When I feel frantic or discontent with it all -- I read a couple of the "God Stories" and it gives me that reminder of the mysteries of life, the unexplainable...the no real rational reason for...It reminds me to seek the divine. It's very healing.

Outstanding -- a must read book !!

Jennifer Skiff puts it together in this book. Stories that will touch your heart and inspire you to really think what love and life is all about. I can't wait for Jennifer's next book.

Uplifting & Validating

I can't wait until the author comes out with another book. I felt so good after I would read each story that I couldn't get enough. It totally validates my belief in God and divine intervention.

God Stories review

It's been a little while since I read it but it was really great and uplifting. It made me want more. I'll be looking for other books to give me that same satisfaction and spiritual boost.

Wonderful Collection

No matter what your religious or spiritual beliefs, (or lack thereof), you will be moved by the stories in this book. Jennifer Skiff has collected a plethora of diverse spiritual encounters by a cross section of humanity. Some of the experiences described are subtle and some will shake you to the core. Each story you read will impel you to turn to the page for the next installment. I tried to ration myself to 3 stories a night but found myself staying up late turning more and more pages. Thank you Jennifer for bringing these stories to light.

Wonderful

Wonderful. To hear real stories of BIG moments is real uplifting. To have one for your own however, a good book would be "The Missing Message" by G Michael Price

Great Book

This is a collection of stories of real people who had experiences where they actually felt God moving in their lives. Some of them were simple feelings, some of them were outright miraculous. It was a great read for times when it's hard to see God working in the world.

TRULY A EYE OPENER,ONE BOOK YOU WILL NOT PUT DOWN AND WILL READ AGAIN AND AGAIN

I recieved my copy from jennifer after telling her that I was in Baghdad,Iraq and ordering one is hard to do,not knowing whether or not you will get something. I was crying after reading some of the stories. Not from sadness but from the joy that I felt at hearing others share their"God Story". For so long I had kept from telling people mine because of the looks, the snears, the remarks people would say. I submitted mine to Jennifer after not telling anyone for a long time. I'm BACK sharing mine again. I have read the book over and over. It fills my heart with peace and happiness,something that has been missing for so long.I now know what I needed to do. You will not be able to stop reading this book. For some they will know,that they too, have a story to share. Those who thought,"it was just a coincidence" "I was lucky",they are the ones that will stop and rethink,"was it luck,Divine intervention,GOD,guardian Angel,what did happen?" If you never believed before, never thought about it before, YOU WILLafter reading this book. Jennifer,I thank you you have given me the strength I had lost.

Get Ready for Goosebumps

I heard Jennifer Skiff on the Jordan Rich Show and felt an instant connection to her and her book. I was blessed to receive a copy of her book from Jordan Rich and read and re-read it as a reminder of how God is present everywhere, all the time in our lives if we only awaken to experience God. Jennifer has compiled God Stories from ordinary people who opened their hearts and spirits to receive God's grace. Through the sharing of these God Stories Jennifer continues to bless my life and fans the flames of faith within me.

Proof of God's Hand in our daily lives

Jennifer has captured and brought together too many individual's stories to deny the hand of God in our everyday lives. Any doubt is erased after reading the numerous accounts of how he intervenes at the right moment. Her book is a faith builder, and empowering tool for anyone who's spiritual spark needs re-igniting. Whether attacked by an illness, or an emotional low in your life, Jennifer's book will take your mind off the negative and put it back on the positive. God is ready, willing, and able to meet your every need, if you just believe and seek his hand in your life. God Stories makes an excellent gift. I love to share my faith by giving to others what has helped me so much.

God Stories is a wonderful inspirational book.

I loved this book, which is actually a collection of people's experiences in which they have received some sort of sign from God indicating that they have been heard, that they are going in the right direction or just loved. I've had experiences similar to the ones detailed in this book but I've never heard of anyone else that has. I feel great knowing there is something else beyond this world and the people I've lost are nearby. This is a wonderful touching book.

God Stories was perfect for a Christmas stocking stuffer.

We purchased the book for a relative for Christmas. She has thoroughly enjoyed it and has also purchased the book for her friends too.

God Stories

I was disappointed in this book. Not terribly inspirational and felt that some of the stories to be unreal and far fetched. There were a couple that were inspiring, but that was all. No chills in it for me as I was let to believe there would be.

Inspiring and Affirming

It was the title that drew me in, and the stories that kept me there. Jennifer Skiff has created a treasure of faith stories centering on our encounter with the Divine. These stories are best enjoyed and savored. They connect us with the Divine and with one another. They inspire us in knowing that there are many, many people out there in our vast world who are just like us. After reading these stories, we feel connected to others and affirmed in our faith in God. Great read and great find to keep coming back to when we need a boost.
