Deep Thoughts not for the shallow. Conservative won't like this.
This book is as much a review of particle physics as it is a comparative argument of god vs. science. It is also a political argument. Be prepared for deep concepts except for the last few chapters. His arguments are too complex for ordinary conversation unless the persons are physicists. I thought though his exercises in logical thought could easily be used by religious people to support their position. Just change the names so to speak. Again with the exception of the final chapters. The scariest and possibly the best part of the book are his comparisons to the Republican party and the discouragement of eduction and promotion of the Christian religion over critical thinking. He forewarns the ongoing transformation of our democracy to a theocracy by conservative politicians financially supported by a few very wealthy people who are increasingly controlling information. It was a challenging read and I'm glad I did it.
