    Not Good

If you are interested in mythology, there are far better books than this. It truly seems that this books was written with the passion of an andriod. It is truly a pity, because there are some myths in this book that you can just tell would be truly beautiful in the hands of an artist... but everything just falls flat. Also, as a student of classical mythology, I just dont find their introductions to be that educating. All in all, I would say find another book.

    Dont waste your time

I felt that this book was written poorly. There was an absolute lack of primary sources. Some of these myths are so beautiful, but the authors deliver them bluntly, with no "life" to their writing, and it dulls the meaning. Most of the time the primary sources are poetic themselves, so adding them only would've enhanced the book. I felt that the comparisons that they draw were also written so simplisticly that they lost much of their meaning. I feel that there must be better books out there than this.

    a look into the past

this book is very interesting if youre interested in mythology. there are many short myths, all which include a small introduction to it.
