    Must read for leading ladies

Bishop does not only explore the challenges in women's lives but offers bibilical examples of women who overcame. The part I liked best is when he uses Ruth to illustrate the principal that we as women must get up to go up. Even though she had been bereaved and her mother in law has experienced the utter bitterness that comes with the loss of an entire family, Ruth got up and went out. There she met Boaz and her life was transformed. He also examines women with diverse backgrounds such as Bathsheba, Tamar and Rahab among others. A must read. definitely
