    Well worth the money!!

Fantastic work, an excellent account of the major mythology related to the Greek gods. This is written with a heavy Jungian slant, so if you are a subscriber to archetypal theory I am sure you will love it. On another issue: I see a reviewer below recommended a work called The Gods Who Walk Among Us. I would heavily advise against using this work as a companion to this work. The Gods Who Walk Among Us is nothing but a bigoted fundamentalist-creationist account written by 'Dr's' who don't even seem to know the gender of certain Greek mythological characters. Any classically educated person will get an immediate intellectual lobotomy reading it!!

    Excellent book!

This is a great book on greek gods! It gives information most other books exclude. Besides the Olympians, it tells about pre-Olympian beings, creation myths, and surnames of the gods. The author give the meaning of the names of the things he talks about. He even names all 50 Nerieds, and give the translation of the names.
