Great book for beginners and advanced golfers
This book is enjoyable to ready. It has a very comprehensive and easy to follow approach to the game of golf. It covers the basics with excellent color photographs from various angles to illustrate the techniques being discussed. It also includes techniques for dealing with problems encountered by beginners as well as advanced golfers. It includes short annecdotes from Annika's experiences...good and bad, and the lessons she learned from them and from which all other golfers can learn. Was this review helpful? good on annika; mediocre on golf instruction
The book provides insight into Soranstam's golf life. The section of fitness is helpful and daunting. As an golf instructional book, it is fair to poor. Soranstam has not worked with handicap golfers and her advice is really for one or two handicap golfers -- more about adjustments to swing than about basics. My guess is that she did not write the instructional material. For golfers who do not have good hand action and a free arm swing, her advice will reinforce bad habits. Was this review helpful? Annika keeps it simple
Annika uses lots of photos and simple phrases to illustrate and convey the way she approaches the golf swing and playing golf. I really like this because it helps me to go back to basics and keep it simple. My experience is that when I have a clear picture in my head of my swing and keep it simple, my shot making is much improved. I say many thanks to Annika. Was this review helpful?
