Consistently well thought out manipulations, compounded with fear mongering and outright untruths. "An angry atheist with a lawyer is one of the most powerful persons in America." ~ from this book. Americans are not being told who to pray to, where they can pray, or how. The problem with the premise of this book is that it seems to claim the religious rights of Christians are under assault, but pays no attention to the fact that other religions exist in America, and they are protected from intrusion upon their beliefs as well. Public displays of religion using public funding are not allowed from any religion or sect, not just Christians. "Walgreens’ 24-page nationwide circular used the word holiday 36 times without one mention of Christmas." ~ from this book. If the followers of Sarah Palin want Walgreen's to use the word "Christmas", follow their mantra, use your wallet vote. Persecution of others may be as simple as erecting any religious edifice on public ground, but on private property it is not and cannot be legislated against. This book confuses the issue of public and private so much that the only logical conclusion is that the Author wants her readers to believe that America is a Christian nation in formation, something the framers of the Constitution were vocal against. "To the corruptions of Christianity I am indeed opposed; but not to the genuine precepts of Jesus himself." -Thomas Jefferson, 1803 Recommended related reading: "The Jefferson Bible" by Thomas Jefferson.

    Excellent Reality 101

This IS what is happening in our country and Sarah has a unique way of mixing a little humor (pay attention!) into some realism that we hardly notice which is greatly affecting all of us.

Ironically I happened to catch her in a TV interview talking about this book the same day I had just started to read it. Beside the book, other things came up like critical attacks from those who I believe fear her influence on us! As usual she listened then came back with class refusing to take the bait to lash back. She is one class act and VERY SMART. God bless John McCain for introducing her to us or many of us may have never known who she is, what she does, and WHO she stands for......Jesus CHRIST
