The Goodnight Trail - fantastic read!

A fabulous read guaranteed to have you feeling the horse beneath you, grit of the trail drive, and the sense of accomplishment these men and women endured!

This is my first Ralph Compton book and I'm happy to say it's only the first of many! A great historical read following Oliver Loving and Charles Goodnight. It was fun to do some actual research about these real people as well as actual events and facts about the area this story all took place in. It was a book I was excited to get back to time after time in order to see where my "crew" was and what they were up to next!
