Step aside Lance Armstrong, there's a new Uni-ball Athlete in the spotlight!!!
Almost as intelligently well crafted as anything by Hemingway, this book is as full of passion as it is debauchery. Maybe it is the fact that Forrest remains true to himself and could give a damn about changing for the masses that keeps the book in your hand as you absorb the plethora of information he has taken the time to put within his book. Or, it could be the super-secret fighting techniques revealed with aesthetically pleasing illistrations that make you feel confident enough to try these out at you local watering hole.
With that said, I highly recommend this book to all fighter's...not just street fighters but the harmless little Gayrate/Gay Kwon Do fellas out there looking for some insite from a true fighter's point of view. It's a great book and very entertaining.1 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

He may not be the world champion anymore but he sure can talk the truth. Forest walks the reader through his life as a fighter and his road to becoming one while also grabbing them with his quick wits and comical relief. I found myself literally laughing out loud. Forest covers many topics not even closely related to fighting but also gets into much detail with techniques and step by step pictures to help you along. Forest’s views on fighting and many other topics changed my understanding. The many stories in the book are entertaining to say the least. If you fight read this book. if you don’t read the book and you will start. -

Funny, Interesting Read
Forrest Griffin's book is an funny, witty, and extremely informative read. It gives you a good look into the life of Forrest Griffin from his and his friend's views. It is quite well-written and will have you laughing from cover to cover.

Touching? Not so much...
First off, the book isn't an autobiography. It's more of a guidebook full of tips for people who want to fight, either professionally, or at the lower levels. That's not the entertaining part of the book, though. The entertaining parts of the book are all the anecdotes (although Forrest might argue that he has no idea what an "anecdote" is, or that he'd ever think to use one) and personality Forrest Griffin has laid out in his book.

Forrest is a funny guy, with a lot of different ideas and opinions, and a lot of them come out in this book for better or worse. If you're a fan of MMA in general, or Forrest Griffin specifically, pick the book up and give it a shot... Just make sure you take the test at the beginning of the book first to make sure you score high enough to read it. That'll make sense after you've read the book, honest. -
Hilarious read. Highly recommended for any fight fan.
I couldn't put this book down once I started reading it. Forrest Griffin is not only a great fighter, but a highly skilled writer as well. Although not an "intellectually stimulating" book, it held my attention throughout with the nonstop humor, and originality. You won't be disappointed you bought this book!

got fight kicks a$$!!!
I'm not much of a reader you could say. However, when I recieved Got Fight? by Forrest Griffin for Christmas I could not stop reading. This book made me laugh so hard I could not read it in public becasue of the stares I got from strangers. What these people didn't realize was that I was reading the work of a true genius. Yes, I did just call Forrest Griffin a genius. Got Fight? is the perfect book for any man because it is so accurate to how we think. Forrest shares so many insights not only to fighting but to life. His stories shed light onto aspects that are important, not to mention hilarious. Forrest tells how it is to be a true fighter and man. His stories of training and how training is done right is very helpful to me and gave me some pointers to take on my MMA career. He shared how he trains, hygene guidlines that should be taken into consideration while training, and some of the roads that have led him to his successful UFC career. Forrest is the perfect role model to look up to and is my role model. He also is my favorite UFC fighter becasue he is just a normal dude. I would strongly recomend this book to any guy looking for a good laugh and some thoughtful stories.

One of the funniest books I have ever had the pleasure of reading.
In this "biography" by Forrest Griffin and Erick Krauss, Griffin takes the reader on a hysterical trip through his mind and mma journey. This book is full of adult "guy" oriented humor starting with the "manliness" test at the beginning all the way to the "asian dart" technique showcased near the end. It is a quick, funny read and would make an excellent gift for any MMA fan or 17-35 year old male. I especially look forward to using the dog defense technique!

Wasn't planning to read this, but I did and I'm glad
I do not fight but my boyfriend does so he bought it. I enjoy reading and I enjoy watching forrest but I wasn't planning on reading his book. However, my boyfriend continually gave me the book to read a paragraph here and there and it was so funny that I decided to read the entire thing. If did help me learn more about the technique of fighting so I better understand when I watch now and it kept me entertained the entire time. I really enjoyed it!

well worth the cost
i have never laughed as hard or long from a book before i read this. there were times that i would have to stiffle my laughing because i was at work. it is crude, simple humor so if that isn't your thing don't buy this. it's not a tell all autobiography or a "self help" book. it's a bunch of pages that forrest decided to put some random thoughts on and sometimes tell a story or two. also you have to take a test before you read it i believe that's a first.

Love Forrest!
I'm a huge MMA fan and I love Forrest Griffin. This book is hilarious and informative, not that I'm planning to become an Ultimate Fighter.

Forrest Griffin is a funny guy
Forrest Griffin is a funny guy, as is his book 'Got Fight?'. Got Fight is basically Forrest's random reflections on his UFC career as well as his experiences as a fighter in general. Although there are some useful tips in this book, Griffin manages to keep it steady with a fun and comical approach.

Overall this book is a good read for fight enthusiasts and fans of Forrest Griffin. I enjoyed it personally and laughed often, although I think some of the vulgarities could be toned down a bit. However, it wouldn't be Forrest Griffin without them, would it? -
Hillarious Easy Read
The book reads exactly how Rorrest Griffin acts, fast and funny. I read this book before he lost to Anderson Silva and ran out of the ring like a little girl. After that, he lost some of his credability. But, it's an entertaining easy read.

No seriously, its a comedy!
Forrest Griffin's "Got Fight?" isn't just the next autobiograhy about an MMA fighter, ala Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, Matt Hughes, Randy Couture & Jens Pulver. In fact, this book won't really tell you all that much about Griffin's life, but it will make you laugh and fill your mind with absurd stories that Forrest has actually lived through.

From Forrest's college days, to his dirty apartment where he played the movie "Good Will Hunting" on a continous loop to his first MMA fight, the hilarious stories pile up quickly.
My favorite part of the book was the mini stories, told by Forrest's friends, I've retold each one a dozen times to friends that I know are Griffin & MMA fans.
Forrest so kindly even has a whole section in the back of the book where he shows you his MMA moves step by step, although I probably wouldn't recommend his Asain Dart technique.
Funny, funny book and if I could give you one piece of advice after reading "Got Fight?", do not, EVER, cut Forrest Griffin off if you see him driving..... -
