Understanding Grace in a personal way

This book inspires me: (1.)I was a dedicated KJV enthusiast and liked the NIV.Through the NCV translation I experience knowledge and insight readily. I am now a fan of NCV.(2.)The notes/commentary at the beginning of each day's readings are precious. Lucado's comments tie the verse selections thematically for living today. My personl favorite-which brings tears-is July 19th.(3.)Each day you read a verse then a brief comment by the author followed by a selection from the Old Testament, from the New Testament, from Psalms, and, from Proverbs. This is a great way to experience grace.

Every year I read a different version of the Bible. This year I chose NCV. It it very relatable and easy to understand but still not quite the Message (which I read last year and loved). With Max Lucado's insights it adds that much more to a daily reading of the Bible. I highly reccomend giving this version, especially with Max's insights, a chance. Puck a set time each day, meet with God and rest well in His arms.
