Definitely a series too get into!

I am an avid reader of series novels and The Jackal of Nar has become one of my all time favorites. Mr. Marco definitely has an amazing talent at visualizing his characters and settings. The atmosphere of his novels bring out all human feelings. Suspense, sadness, fear and loyalty for the characters. Outstanding!

    A real Page turner

This book was the best so far in his series. Once you start it you can't put it down. And the way he explains the characters is great and very easy to follow along.

    Very Good, though odd

Like the first book in the series, this one is dark and serious. I read both in the space of just a couple of days and found them equally entertaining, though this one has mostly villainous characters that are well done but sometimes difficult to like. The author seems to enjoy concentrating on motivations, which brings the characters to life. Certainly one of the more interesting new series going.

    Better than the first

I brought this book on the strength of the first one in the series, and was really impressed with it. For his second time at bat, the author hits a homer. This is the way fantasy should be--well written, engaging from the first page, and highly dramatic. This is turning into one of the most unique series going. An all around excellent book.
