    Great Cookbook

I loved some of the recipes in this book. I'm not even a diabetic, but I was interested in eating less sugar in general, so picked this up and was very pleasantly surprised. Diabetic meals? Not at all what I expected. Just as tasty as any meal I can make with sugary ingredients. Great value.

    Worth the Money

My fiancee was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year. This is the first diabetic cookbook we have purchased. It has everything from appetizers to dessert. It contains all the nutrional information on the recipes it features. I like that it has not only the fruit/startch/ect. values but also the carbs since we use the carb point system exclusively. We have 2 young boys who have enjoyed nearly everything we have tried so far. I have even made a few of the recipes for church dinners and recieved many compliments.
With the recipes that are in this book, you can shop produce and have many of the ingredients you will need for so many of the recipes. They use alot of fresh ingredients which I enjoy and there is not too many ingredients that are ever out of season.
The instructions are easy to understand. My favorite recipe so far has been the fruit tart and mine looked just as good as the picture in the book. The tarragon chicken dish was also easy to make and looked very much like what was pictured.Nothing in this book is complicated.
