    Great Album

I am not a huge fan of greatest hits albums because how do you decide on the songs to put into the album but 311(easily one of the last good bands out on the market these days) has done a great job of just collecting their singles that were chart toppers and putting them into one solid album. If you're a diehard 311 fan then this album already has all the songs you know and probably own except for the last two-which are new. I think 311 is being smart here...they have reached a whole new generation of fans with "Love Song" and are introducing themselves all over again(which it seems like they have to do endlessly-this shouldn't happen but it does) with this album. The new song "Last Straw" is a really cool funky reggae vibe song, typical of a 311 fusion. I suggest buying this album if you haven't heard any of 311's other sounds or if you're a diehard fan. Support these guys...they exist because they make great music-the bands that copied them aren't around anymore. Take a look at the original bands that fused rock and rap-the Chilli Peppers(still around),the Beastie Boys(still around), 311(still around)...what happened to the bands that copied them...Limp Bizcuit anyone? Those bands that copied aren't around because they sucked and were sell outs. Give it up for NikHex, SA, P-Nut, Mr. Sexon, and Mahoney...they deserve your attention and listening ears. Go out and see them this summer in the best concert around-MMW, The Roots, and 311! Feel the unity.
