    Fun dance pop all throughout!

This is much, much better than the 2000 Virgin Records release of before. It has a strong helping of 18 songs! And there's one funky high energy dance number after another with Forever, Straight, Cold, The Way That You Love Me and Knocked Out on the first 5! One or The Other was a track I played the most outside of the other hits from her 1988 debut and I'm glad it's on here! The '91 and '95 hits are still sharp here, especially Rush Rush, Promise, My Love Is For Real and If I Was Your Girl. Bend Time Back Around from the 90210 soundtrack album is another nifty dance number as well as Ain't Never with Color Me Badd. Paula's voice can get squeaky at times, but it compliments these high energy songs. I think that her being a judge on American Idol makes us respect her music a lot more with this updated collection. It is a fun and consistent dance pop album and she even gave Janet Jackson some stiff competition in '89 and '90 with her hits! A fun aerobic workout if there ever was one, with sweat all covered on your shirt after all that dancing to these high energy numbers!
