Once again Tim gives us excellence

Once again Tim proves why he is here for the long haul. Over 13 years since his first album and he is still getting better, taking risk and growing in his music. He nevers fails to deliver an album that you can enjoy not just for a few weeks, but an album, they you will fine yourself listening to years later. That is the hallmark of a Tim CD, it becomes like your favorite sweater that just grows dearer as time goes on. I am very happy that he included Everywhere on this album, since that to me was one big omission from the first Greatest Hits, It is worth the price alone. The new songs are excellent and My Little Girl will be used as a song for a father and daughter dance at weddings for years to come. If you are a parent and especially a father and don't get misty eye with this song, I would be worried about you. The line, "Sometimes you're asleep, I whisper I love you in the moonlight at your door, as I walk away I hear you say, daddy love you more" will make you melt. The song Beautiful People is just real, about real people, real life that happens everyday. People that love their kids, take care of their parents in their old age, go to work, raise their kids, do it right without the fanfare and glory. The everyday people that are the beautiful people that you don't hear about in the magazines and press. The song, "I've Got Friends That Do" is powerful and can and IMO will change someone's life for the better. It can have the impact of his song, "Live Like You Were Dying". These lines speak volumes, "This is for yours truly, just a little verse to remind me, we all got somewhere to turn, and I may not know what it's like to send my only son to save the world and watch him die, and I may not know how it feels to hang there on the cross, to prove that love is real, but I've got friends that do". A song about hope and redemption, that speaks to the trails and tribulations all of us face. Once again Tim delievers with honesty, the words and feelings all of us have.

    another great compilation

Very good CD. I thought "One of These Days" would be on here. But I really enjoy "When Stars Go Blue" and "Red Ragtop" immensely. Not his best ever but still way above average.

    Very nice compilation

I have to admit that while being a long-time Tim fan, I really did not enjoy his oftentimes sad and depressing 2004 effort, LLYWD. That being said, the new songs on this collection remind me why I enjoy his music in the first place, and hearing some of the past singles on this disc such as "She's My Kind of Rain" makes the magic feel new again. If you did not like the pace of the LLYWD cd, this disc feels much more like a classic McGraw album.

    Love, Faith, Hope and Change

This is one of the best cds you will ever buy. It is worth every penny even though it is a Greatest Hits. I bought 5 copies for people who aren't particularly Tim fans and they actually have been playing it everyday and even at work. The songs address themes such as love, faith, hope and change in a very positive, uplifting way. You cannot help but sing along even to the songs that you've never heard before. "My Little Girl" is a killer!

    Tim Does It Again

Tim McGraw never fails to impress me. Daddy's Little Girl and I've Got Friends That Do are great new songs that fit in wonderfully with the old. Great addition to your past accomplishments Tim.
