Greetings from Ghana
Greetings from Ghana certainly is a rip-roaring adventure of endless mishaps and mayhem. M. J. Poynter delightfully sets himself up as the accidental tourist who haphazardly stumbles from one catastrophe to the next. Playing the part of the quintessential ¿Englishman abroad¿ the author finds himself confronted by a nation of people whose culture and customs will push his well mannered patience to the limit. An inventive tale which is very similar to the writer¿s previous novel Middleburg in terms of humour, style and attention to detail. Full of vivid descriptions and comical events, Greetings from Ghana offers an insightful portrayal of life in the city of Accra. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
