GREAT cookbook- a must have for the vegetarian or non-vegetarian!
Friends who have had the privilege of actually eating at The Grit Restaurant shared this cookbook with me. Within minutes of perusing through the recipes, I was on-line ordering The Grit. I have the previous edition and now my interest is piqued that I am missing out on 20 new recipes! The recipes are tried and true, southern vegetarian style, and very yummy. Even though my husband and I aren't vegetarians, we often substitute turkey sausage when it calls for veggie/vegan links. The yeast gravy and biscuits recipes in the previous edition alone make the book worth it!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
