Absolute Must for New Access Users
There are lots of good Access books out there and I've read a lot of them, but this one is different in one important way. It is written from the point of view of the NEW User who is just trying to figure out to get the darned application to do simple things like save contact information and print out mailing lists. If you need help with advanced VBA, you won't find it here, but if you want to understand the why's as well as the how's of setting up a decent database, this is the book for you. Another thing I liked about the author's approach is that he assumes you're not a dummy at all and that you can grasp some fairly sophisticated--and important--concepts if he just takes the time and trouble to explain them. Not for the advanced developer, to be sure, but if you know someone who needs to get started using the Access the Right Way, tell them about Grover Park George on Access. Was this review helpful?
