Page turner!

I read this book within 24 hours. It was a little more scary than I had predicted and it kept me up all night wanting to find out what was going to happen. Dogs are truly your best friend!!

Upsetting ending

I was not happy with the ending at all. Nicholas Sparks is usually consistent with the happy endings, but it was a lot of excitement and build-up for a cruel and undeserved ending. I'm so upset now!

    Loved it!

I love Nicholas Sparks books! I usually read through a whole book in less than a week and that is not like me. I am not a big fan of reading but I find myself on the edge of my seat waiting for his next novel to come out. This is definitely a great book.

    I love this book.

Nicholas Sparks's creative minds brings to life a beautful tale that involves everything you can think of (drama, action and romance). I enjoyed all of the dynamics of the novel and hope to see this in film someday.

    Way to go!

    Must read!!

Nicholas Sparks has done it again. This was not only a romance novel but a thriller as well. I woke up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat because this book, it was not that I was really scared for myself but I was scared for the characters in the story and I had to find out how it ended. I soon found that it ended with me crying like a good ole Nicholas sparks novel will always make me do.

    Haunting

I read this book, often having to shut it to still the wild, panicked beating of my heart. At first, the book was kind of slow, showing the main characters just as average-joe people in a one-horse town. In a town with hardly a thousand people, one person is a seasoned stalker-killer. The plot thickens. I read this book and thought 'Wow!' A year later, the book came back to haunt me when a friend of mine started being stalked. The Guardian is an amazingly life-like situation with a miraculous ending that is worth reading and cherishing.

Book Review Outline Book title and author: The Guardian by Nicho

    Book Review Outline
Book title and author: The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks
Title of review: The Guardian Review
Number of stars (1 to 5):

Introduction: Do not trust anyone you barely know they can end up trying to murder you. This novel is based on true events that happened in Nicholas’ life. The novel is a great read and very suspenseful. I find it mostly read by females.

Description and summary of main points: It is set in Swansboro, North Carolina. Julie, a 29 year old main character, is ready to start dating again. Should it be Richard Franklin, a sophisticated engineer, or Mike Harris, her late husbands’ best friend? Her husband died and left her with two gifts that came unexpectedly. The gifts are a Great Dane puppy she named Singer and the promise that he would always be watching over her.

Evaluation: The plot of the book is amazing and it leaves you wanting to read more. The setting of the book changes, but it’s inside North Carolina. The characters play a very important role in this story including all the people they meet along the way. I find that there are multiple themes in this novel and some are more obvious than others. It is a very romantic book and might cause tears in your eyes.

Conclusion: The novel is a great read and very suspenseful. Julie wants to start dating, but finds it difficult to date since her husband died. The book a great I would suggest it to anyone who likes reading romantic novels.

Your final review: It’s a tear jerker and makes you think twice about who to trust. The most loyal companion a person can have is a dog. Dogs can sense if a person is good or bad.

Have you ever gotten a gift? In the book The Guardian by Nichola

Have you ever gotten a gift? In the book The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks; Julie Barenson’s Great Dane, Singer, was the first gift given to her by her dead husband. His other gift was that he would always be watching over her. When Julie got comfortable to date after a while she met Richard Franklin. Singer didn’t like Richard and thinks that he is bad for Julie. Is Singer being too protective? Will Singer allow Julie and Richard to date or will he scare him away? Is Richard even a good guy for Julie?
Julie Barenson had a wonderful life, until her husband, Jim Barenson, died. When Jim died he left two gifts, one was a promise that he would always be watching her and the second one is a Great Dane puppy named Signer. As Singer grew older he became very protective of Julie. When Julie became comfortable to date she met Richard Franklin, but when Richard came towards Singer he started to bark and growl at Richard. Julie liked Richard until he started to stalk her. Will Julie ever get away from Richard? Will Julie ever find true love?
Singer is the reason why I love this book, because he is so protective of Julie. He protects because he loves Julie for who she is. Not only does Singer protect he also knows what is good for Julie. Singer also knows who Julie should be around and he doesn’t like that idea of Julie being around Richard.
A man named Richard Franklin loved Julie. The mystery about Richard is one of the reasons to keep turning the pages to find out what happens in The Guardian. Nicholas Sparks is an expert at keeping the reader guessing about what will happen with Julie, Singer, and Richard. Who else can write an amazing storyline, which keeps the readers wondering about Julie’s love life and Richard’s ability to not leave Julie alone.
The Theme of the story is about how Julie goes through her life after Jim died, but Julie has made a few bad choices. That’s why The Guardian is so realistic and why it is a strong hearted felt book. Readers read about the choices Julie makes when she goes through her life. The way Nicholas Sparks writes it feels like it is a move when readers read it; even though it is a longer book it goes by really fast.
