Great encouragement for young and inexperienced . . .
It's Superbowl Sunday and a year ago I was at home alone, depressed and overwhelmed with my demanding job and recent promotion. This year I willingly kept the television low while reading David Lord's Book. It happened to be among the many I purchsed in a fit of panic I experienced last Februrary, searching for any career/life change before my weekly counseling sessions turned into admittance to the looney bin (at the tender age of 23! All that tuition for nothing!!!!) By the grace of God, I fell in to a pot of gold in the end of March. My former employer became my client and my job was outsourced, a truly win-win situation. We all have an independent value, we seldom ask what it is. Once you know, it's your ticket (with dedication and desire)to the most fulfilling life of independence . . . I mean self-employment. I was first encouraged by David's book because even to the unfamiliar, it was easily comprehended (read twice it's even better). Some may say simply put, but this only illustates our conditioning to expect the best things to be complex. Not true. David identifies your fears & your weaknesses and how to overcome them, cope with distractions, how to prepare your spouse and family, but most of all teaches you to take time to learn your new role including your freedom at home. Once you're in the driver's seat, everything is different . . . better. Ultimately we would all be happy if we could achieve balance, for those who have done it, their advice and guidance is priceless. This book provides your new business with the facts made easy. If you are just starting out, or maybe it's that dream you've always envisioned but never had the knowledge to pursue, this book will provide the reassurance and guidance to start your business off right. The half-time show, Bono & U2 - they're incredible. . . imagine if they had never taken the risk. By the way, if you're reading this you're already further ahead then you know.
