disappointed in lack of format versatility
I was horribly disappointed to find that the ONLY device I can open this on is my Nook. Not my iPad, not my computer...only the Nook. I use my iPad for everything, and to not be able to access my recipes on it really burns me up. The enhanced edition doesn't seem to add any useful value, and I was also disappointed to see that the Nook version is quite a bit shorter than the print version. A fair amount of the book is commentary - letters from his family & friends, pictures reminiscing about the good old days, so there aren't nearly as many recipes as I would have expected in an almost 400-page cookbook. That being said, many of the recipes are intriguing, and I can't wait to start trying them out. There are a lot of ingredients that I will have to hunt for - I haven't found a single recipe that uses ingredients I already have at home. I am not disappointed I bought it, but I don't think I will use it as much as I had hoped. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
