I normally love reading semi-finished books and new authors - epublishing has an immediacy to it that lets you access books-in-progress and up-and-coming authors, and I love that. But I could not finish this. It's wildly inconsistent. One minute, the narrator and his girlfriend are vowing "always and forever", the next minute (literally, the next chapter), she is "a fleeting thought" as he flirts with someone new.

Worse, the writing is clunky. As one human is surrounded by vamps, the narrator says "She looked really scared." Or he describes himself as "looking very vampey in my all black attire." Another vamp is described as "He looked like how you would imagine a modern day samurai would look." I don't even want to diagram that sentence.

Somewhere in this, there may be a good storyline. But the descriptions are non-existent and never manage to draw you in. And the clunky sentences and inconsistent characters constantly distract you. I gave up. Not recommended.

    Hire a proof reader

Good stories, if you can get past the MULTIPLE gramatical errors and missing words in sentences. I was extremely surprised to find something published with this many errors. Discredit towards the author's abilities, not so much the value of the story if you can figure out the missing words.

    Good

The books are good. Good story line. Hard to get pass the arrogance of the main person. I do not enjoy reading about how great a person thinks he is. Still trying to get through the series. Had to stop and take a break. I was getting disgusted with the Chosen one and the Werewolf buddy!!

Kind of a romance novel for high schoolers.

Read the first book and it was ok. Stopped in the middle of second book, seem like it was at a freshman in high school level.

    Forever and Always

    So many errors...where to start?
First erection Josiah had as a mani, was when he tasted blood the first time. First time he cried as a mani was with Tommy at the cabin looking at family photos not over Lena and Tom. The papparatzi yelling out Helen's / Sonia 's real name they called out Ginger not Sonia. Love the series and appreciate authors hard work at getting it to us speedily , but slow down or get better proof readers. Editing mistakes too were a distraction at times.

    Pretty Good

This was a different kind of vampire/werewolf series. The plots were interesting but the semi-frequent typos, incorrect word usage, or omitted words made it feel amateurish. Also, the main character, Josiah, over reacts in many of the situations, making him seem to immature for the responsibility he has been given. Overall, the books are interesting.

read, but try to overlook the typos.

Sometimes the plot is weak and predictable at other times it is quick and throws me for a loop. I enjoy the conflict and would wish more time would be spent explaining the protagonists points of view. But alas the books are all from Josiah's view.

Some minor consistency errors that don't make sense. Such as Lena is wearing a white tank and capris one minute then Josiah is removing her white dress in the next. (?)

So my biggest peeve would be errors in proof reading and general typographical errors. Enough to pull you out of the story. Far more frequent than just here and there.
