    Great comic

This book is a part of the HackSlash world. To start:

Ms. Hack and her very large friend, Vlad, follow their calling to kill all Slashers. Sometimes killing the undead is a pro bono deal for the right reasons. More often, actual money changes hands, for services rendered. Fees varies widely across their clientele. Although, cash payment is the preferable way to collect their job fees. On many days, though, it the killing of harmful peope or Slashers is payment enough, right? Maybe not.

Slashers are undead, angry, violent and hard to kill. They seem related to supnatural creatures such as: revenants, hungry ghosts, demons, zombies, vampires, werewolves, etc.

Slashers are created when a person with seriously strong negative emotions/energy goes through a metamorposis. He strarts out as a human with deep issuses amd strong beliefs. Acting on his own to some greatly important thing. Oftern enough, he has become a murderer. Later he somehow dies suoddenly. Then he comes back and is hyper focused on his mossion...killing certain people in horrific ways for a multitude of reasons only know to him.

The Slasher is pretty scary because most of them still have a working brain. There is a m.o. for each Slasher. You kill them once. Then the get up. Killed again and get back up again. This is why Ms. Hack and Vlad are the specialiats that know how to keep them from getting back up.

The series is fun and violent. The characters are well drawn and well developed. The storylines are interesting. The author uses mature languange often. The violence can get extremely disturbing. I do not recoommend this book and to anyone under 16 years old. Horror comic fans may have a great series to enjoy!
