A Good Source to Site: If you have others
This book was largely unimpressive. It had little of the necessary explainations of the actual theoretical backing that the different cryptographic schemes described within use. It would be good for a course in Computer Science, but it is not a very good book to look at Cryptography from a Mathematical perspective. On a positive note, it does include a wide range of general cryptographic information, and therefore, it may be useful to someone seeking a general knowledge of the field of cryptography. It goes deep enough to inform, but it stops shy of being able t be called comprehensive. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Best reference for this field
This is an excellent handbook that also provides a good summary of mathematical tools that are _required_ knowledge for engineers working in this field. It is much more useful than the book 'Applied Cryptography : Protocols, Algorithms, and Source Code in C, Second Edition'.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
