Great period instrument performance
This is a very fine, accurate and historically informed performance of two great Handel works. First, Gardiner uses the original version of the Water Music, not the arrangement by Sir Hamilton Harty (which is however a nice version for modern orchestra) conducted in a lively and precise way. Second, the English Baroque Soloists give an absolutely crystal clear performance that let you hear everything. Surely a first choice. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
