I just bought this cover today for my Nook Color and so far it's perfect! I have no yellowing issues at all? I like that it fits snug so is similar to holding the Color with nothing on it. I think it's helpful to thinking about how you most like to read with your Nook so this is the best for me.I have two other covers. One functions like opening a hardcover book but that one added too much width when folded back to comfortably hold it all when reading. The other one opens at the top and flips back (and has a vertical stand) which is much easier to hold when reading vertically but I've never used the stand....plus I read mostly in the horizontal position now (haha) so the vertical stand, in retrospect, wasn't as useful as I first thought it would be.

I tend to just take my Nook right out of those covers and read with it with nothing covering it. I like how slim and light it feels that way. The only problem was that I'd always be half asleep when putting my bare Nook onto my nightstand after reading and my 2 and 4yo come into our room in the morning and usually kidhandle it before I'm awake. Eeek!! Which leads me to this particular case......I can now read per usual, holding it in either vertical or horizontal position, with nothing to fold back and make more bulky, and then just easily discard it to whatever table at night and not worry about it!

I of course also have a protective screen on it. And a protection plan. Haha I'm all set! I got the flamingo one and love the pop of color! I can see me getting a more demure color in the future of the same case though because I like to change things up often.

Do not buy for Nook Tablet :(

    Doesn't fit!

    I got this with my nook for christmas and put it on imediatly to protect my nook. The screen was yellow on the top and prepared to return it after a few days I took the case off. The discoloration then went away. Now I need to buy a new case for my nook and cannot return this one because it has no box.

    Skip this product

    As soon as I put this on my Nook it made a yellow mark on top. As soon as I took it off the yellow mark faded a away. From reading the other reviews I see they had the same exact problem. It's too tight for the Nook. I was able to return it because I had kept the original box and my receipt.

    very nice case because it fits perfect and looks nice i carry just that around throughout my school day. however after 2 days around the corners the whole back and the top was covered in pencil marks and they wouldn't come off i was so sad :( because i loved the color so i had to exchange it for the black overall ok but unless all you do is keep it in a plastic bag it SUCKS!!!!

    Love it!!!

    I purchased this when I bought my nook tablet as I like to keep my electronics looking nice. It fits nice & snug like it should. There was no yellow on anything. Make sure to get a screen protector too. Now I just need a case that my nook will fit in with this cover on so that I feel comfortable traveling with it. I'm happy with this shell as it protects the back & sides and isn't bulky.

    Great for my daughter's nook color!

    It fits perfect and the nook color seems well protected. I also like that it keeps her from having access to the memory slot. Love it!
