    Highly Recommended

Well written, really tells you about the person and how off the field he had such a impact. Was a force to be reckon with in his playing days, but really knew little else about him, this books does justice to the legacy of Mr. Killebrew.

    Great book!

I enjoyed this book. It contained valuable facts about Killebrew as well as tidbits of dialogue from Killebrew's friends and family. A great book to keep on hand if you ever need to write a biography on Killebrew. I just have one question. In what city was this book published in?

Here is the story of Harmon Killebrew which is a methodical accounting of his baseball career. It is not exciting which leads credence to the fact that KIllebrew was not a flashy personality. A telling fact that illustrates this is that Harmon was never thrown out of a baseball game in his entire career.
His life after baseball was as steady as he was with the only really problems were his divorce and the scandel at his old high school.
It is a good read of the rather calm and serene life of the ultimate slugger.
