I couldn't put it down!
When Hal Holbrook presented "Mark Twain Tonight" to our student body in 1959, it was easy to believe that he was the 70-yr-old Samuel Clemens. In reality, he was 34 years old. Mr. Holbrook's account of those first 34 years is compelling reading. He relates the events of his early life with an honesty that is almost painful. His search for the identity behind the stage make-up creates a story of universal appeal. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
