    Good story, decent interactive features

My daughters loved the Harry the Dirty Dog series so I was happy to see it offered as a read and play book for their Nooks.

The story is exactly the same as the hard copy book. A few of the interactive features are cute, like when Harry digs in the dirt for his brush and when he slides down the coal shoot. Most, however, are dull.

If you are looking for the interactive features, I would suggest the Sandra Boynton apps and the Laurie Berkner book. If you are looking for children's classic with a few cute features, though, I would recommend.

My Grandchildren loved it, and wanted to play it over and over.

The 2 1/2 to 6-year age group will love it, and even older children will enjoy the interaction feature. As an adult, one can appreciate entertaining children and smile at the "Dirty Harry" reference.

Growing into it for a two year old

My grandson is two and listen intently....starting to get the dirty dog is Harry. He gets a little concerned when Harry leaves home. But at the end he likes the bath and homecoming. Probably better suited for 4 to 5 year old.

One of my favorites as a child...

I was excited to buy this book for my children because I remember checking it out of the library as a child. I bought it for my 4 year old's birthday and he likes it alot.

Harry The Dirty Dog - A Classic

This wonderful book is a classic. Harry doesn't want to take a bath and runs away. He has a great time but misses home. When he arrives, they don't recognize the dirty dog he has become.

I teach kindergarten and the children always love this book.
