Picking this book out at the library was probably one of the best discussions I have ever made. Seriously. I remember practically devoring this book back in the day and then forcing my mom to take me to the library to get the next book (which I still do by the way). Reading this book started my obsession with Greek Mythology (which in turn made me love the PJO series).
Since this book is told in Hades' point of veiw a person who knows the myths would expect it to be (searching for the right word here) lack in humor but apparently King Hades has a great sense of humor. Hades explains how he's not as bad as he's made out to be. He's just a normal god ..with extremely bad luck.
I'm going to get my younger brother to read these books soon so he can enjoy them too. :)
