Goes right to the heart

Ms. Weaver's first book was deeply helpful to me as a typically anxious woman. However, this book has gone right to the very depths of my soul, exposing my heart in new ways. I have been a Christian for many years and it is so refreshing to be laid bare by the word of God and Ms.Weaver's insightful application of it. I think this is a must read for any woman who truly wants to allow God to change her in radical ways.

Having a Mary Spirit

This is the first book I've read by Joanna Weaver. In fact, I had never heard of her but the title caught my attention because I am a woman with a Martha spirit. I really like Joanna as an author. She is candid, self deprecating and she doesn't sugar coat. Joanna gets to the nitty-gritty of who we really are on the inside. She talks about 'flesh woman', pride and all the areas that we, as women get entangled. This book is honest, funny and very useful, yet not preachy. I recommend 'Having a Mary Spirit'for anyone wanting to root-out unwanted tendencies and have a closer walk with God.

If you're a christain women, this is a great book to understanding the love of Jesus Christ. Joanna Weaver has brought to life how important we as women are. She makes examples to follow while sharing her owns story. You will find yourself with-in the pages of this book.
