    The Temporary Groom
Joan Johnston writes people. This book was originally written in 1996 and has been incorporated into the dual Harlequin book Hawk’s Way Rebels in 2011. It is paired with The Virgin Groom.

Joan’s characters become your friends and/or your enemies. You wait for the next episode. Who but Joan knew that two characters such as Billy and Cherrie would be a perfect match? Yet she presents them so that no other outcome is possible.

Joan doesn’t generally skimp on any character traits, including the sexual relationship between her characters and these two are no exception. If you are interested in real characters that develop a real relationship, this is a book for you. If you are not interested in a book where the sexual relationship is explored, then I advise you to bypass this one.

    Love Finds A Way

In The Cowboy Takes A Wife, Desiree Parrish is desperately seeking a man to protect her from her abusive first spouse. Big Carter Prescott must find a way into her heart through gentleness and understanding, but will he come to care for Desiree enough before the nightmare of abuse returns?

Falcon Whitelaw desired Mara Ainsworth the moment he saw her - but she was already wed to another man. Unfortunately, Mara blames Falcon for her drunken husband's death, but circumstances throw them together again. Susannah, Mara's little daughter, is very ill. It will take a lot of money, time and care to see Susannah well again and Mara can think of only one man capable of saving them both. The Unforgiving Bride was inspiring and a lesson for us all to treasure the ones we love every moment of every single day.
