    FRIGHTENINGLY REALISTIC!!!

As a former Chief Law Enforcement Officer, I found this book quite believable in all it's implications for our future. Brilliant writing, brilliant concept, believable characters, and some of the most awesome possible future fiction I have ever read! The most gripping aspect of this book is the very REAL potential for the events described to happen in American society within our own lifetime! An excellent piece of literary work which appeals to ANY serious reader, despite his or her usual preference for subject matter. I give this work my highest recommendation and anxiously await the remaining books in the series.

    A very disturbing tale.

Head rites tells the story of the future of our country, but its not a future that I want to live to see. I kept thinking of this book long after I finished the final page. Which in my book a day life doesnt happen often.

    near term social science fiction

What a great book! Truesdale was right! The editor of the SFWA Bulletin said this is a radical social experiment in creeping social engineering. This may be science fiction, but it too easily could become real. The authors have done their homework on environmental policies and conditions and outlined one possible scary future if we don't take care of the planet. The characters are realistic and the premise could be.

    Sure to be a movie.

Science fiction/mystery/romance/environmental fiction all rolled into one. A superb novel by new authors. Believable situations and characters. I eagerly await the sequel. Sure to be a hit, and a movie. A must read.

    What a different concept!

When I read the reviews of this book, I didn't expect to become so involved with the characters. What real, interesting people they are. It's a love story, it's science fiction, it's social commentary. Head Rites is a book that has something for many readers of different genres. I can't wait to see the next books the authors have promised on this subject.
