    So Insightful and beautifully written

Agha Nasr wrote this book beautiful and brought about topics that many have judgements about. The Heart of Islam is the True Islam and the real reason why people become surrrenders to God. This book will be part of my library. It reminds one of how similar we all really are, Christian, Muslim, and Jew. Thank you va Merci Sayyed Nasr!

Heart of Islam: Enduring Values for Humanity

I have read many books on Islam over the years. This book is simply the best introduction for one wants to know what are the central teachings of Islam and why so many follow them. Seyyed Hossein Nasr also provides excellent answers to many of the issues now in the air and clears the ground of many misconceptions about Islam. This should be required reading for all Americans.

Heart of Islam: Enduring Values for Humanity

Since the events of 9/11 I have read many books in an effort to better understand Islam. Not until I read this book did I feel that I had begun to achieve that goal. I have never come accross a book which explains any religion to the non- practicioner in a more accessible manner. I have purchased copies for friends and family.

Heart of Islam: Enduring Values for Humanity

This is without doubt the best book on Islam for those who wish to familiarize themselves with its essential teachings. Nasr offers an eloquent presentation which answers many of the questions that have come to the fore in the wake of 9/11 with none of the apologetics that have plagued many Muslim writers. This is truly a one of a kind book that must be read by anyone who wishes to work towards understanding Islam on both a personal and societal level.

    Must Read . Period

Nasr offers another great book on Islam with the intellectual depth and honest, unapologetic , style that can only come from a true scholar whose only goal is the truth. Set aside all the other books you have bought in an attempt to understand Islam after 9/11, this is the only one you really need to read.
