Family Life, Practice of Medicine and Political Service - uplifting and enlightening read from Dr. Bill Frist
I found this book to provide a wonderful portrayal of family relationships and values. These are the backdrop of the two most significant features of this book. First, page after page one beholds "a heart to serve" in the training for and the practice of medicine and specialities which is patient-centered. And Dr. Frist shares his insights and perspectives on the burning issues in health care in the U.S.A., with personal observation of the health care system in Great Britain and personal practice ot medicine in Africa. Second, as an outgrowth of his university training not only in medicine but also public policy, Dr. Frist demonstrates the desirability and value of "citizen legislators" in distinction from the common, long-term career politicians, and lays out critical ramifications.

faith and service to ones country
"a heart to serve" is a very hard to put down bestseller. it is writtion by senator william (bill) frist who is the senates only doctor and he ran for president at one time but he has had a long medical career were he has helped many people heal their lifes and this very fasinating book also shows how a humble politican and doctor puts his faith into action
