The book was published before the end of the trial. From what I read on the internet, there were some interesting things that happened after the trial that should have been included in the book. I wouldn't recommend anyone buy this book. It was a good book with a big let-down in the end. I don't know why the author didn't wait to publish so it could have been complete.Show Less

    Keep your Monday!

This is probably the worse true crime book I have ever read and I have read quite a few. It ended very abruptly and would go off on details about all of these other cases that happened in Boston. Horrible book! Keep your money.

First part of book great, second part not so much

I thought the first part was great, up until he was arrested in England. To get the full story the author should have included the trial. In a hearing it was stated by the police that the baby had been beaten in the face and head area and that there was bruising. Is this the normal coloring of death or was it actually bruising? If the author would have waited to publish the book until after the trial and include the trial, I think that question and many others would have been answered. It would have been nice to hear from the Medical Examiner who performed the autopsies and all the other evidence. In my opinion this book was not finished. It is really to bad that Ann Rule did not do this story, she would have waited until the verdict was in before she would have written the book, thus giving the readers the whole story.

    Not worth a dime...

Talk about glossing and skimming over the details! This book was so void of any real information about the Entwistle case I can't believe the author managed to get 100+ pages out of it! Especially considering the book was written before Neil Entwistle even went on trial! Well, I won't tell you the verdict of the trial, you can find that out online, but I can tell you the verdict of this book is GUILTY - guilty of being a waste of my money.

    Chilling

This was a good, fast-paced true crime thriller that catches and keeps your attention. The only thing I didn't like was that McPhee did not wait until the trial was over. The book just sort of abruptly ends...

Fast reading and recommended for true crime readers

It is very hard to think that a loving husband could possibly kill his wife and 9mth old infant. Once you start reading this book you will not be able to put it down. It is very fast reading and well written. He deserves to be where he is and never released. This crime is definitely one of the most horrific crimes to a family. It shows the heartless emotion and non-caring feelings of a human being.

Touches on many shocking cases and sews them together through the characters

Found the prison report most interesting.

    Kept my attention

I think Michelle did a great job. It is a gruesome story but she treated it with respect. It is a well written book and it kept me reading all night.

    Heartless indeed.

Shame on Michele R. McPhee and her publishers for using these gruesome murders as a way to make money - and that's exactly what they're doing. These were real people whose family is still tortured with the memory of that event every day. Then here comes Ms. McPhee cashing in on their pain, and making it even more public than it already is. Releasing it on the trial date is an especially cruel touch. Talk about heartless.
