The BEST book for eating disorders hands down!!!

If you read only one book about eating disorders, and there are many, THIS is the one to choose! It's based on evidenced based research proven treatment - that's rare in the U.S. The FBT Maudsley approach works; it works. Other talk therapy based on outdated, ineffective theories are actually harmful and waste precious time if your teen is ill. Read it, use it, and your child will be on her way to the fastest recovery with a proven rate of reduced relapse. What could be better than that?

    Excellent Resource

Every parent who has a teenager experiencing an eating disorder should read this book. The authors thouroughly explain different eating disorders based on years of research and clinical experience as well as sharing many cases that parents can identify with. The authors also include concrete and useful recommendations for parents.
