A Must Read

I couldn¿t wait to read the third installment of the Tulanes of Tennessee and I was not disappointed. HER BEST FRIEND¿S BROTHER is highly emotional and dramatic. Shelby and Luke are believable characters with realistic emotions and behaviors ¿ you get mad when they get mad, feel hurt when they hurt. The secondary characters add depth to the story and give more insight into the behaviors of both Shelby and Luke. This story is more than an excellent read, at times I forgot I was even reading a book. The characters are so vivid and the emotional level so high the story could easily step off the pages and be true to real life.Kay Stockham has outdone herself with HER BEST FRIEND¿S BROTHER and I¿m excited to read the about the two remaining Tulane siblings ¿Ethan and Alex.
-MarcieR

Kay Stockham always touches my heart with her books.

    It's wonderful!!

Your heart just aches for Shelby and Luke. From the moment I started reading, I was captivated. Letting go of your past and trusting your here and now is difficult and the journey Shelby takes with Luke rings true and heartfelt. She's just like a fawn - skittish and leery and Luke's a true hero - strong and steady. Sometimes you really do have to lose something before you realize what you have.

All of Kay¿s books are on my keeper shelf and this one is a great addition!

Chris S.

    A Riveting and Emotional Read

Her Best Friend's Brother by Kay Stockham

When you pick up a Kay Stockham book you can always expect to find a heartwarming, emotional read and Her Best Friend's Brother is no exception.

Shelby Brookes, best friend of Alex Tulane, has always had a crush on computer gaming guru Luke Tulane but she has never acted on those feelings until Luke comes back to town for his brother Garret's wedding.

Reeling from an emotional upset Shelby lets herself have one night with Luke, never dreaming of the consequences that night would bring. Finding herself pregnant Shelby doesn't know how to break the news to Luke or her best friend Alex. Can they ever forgive her? Can Shelby over come her past to be the kind of parent this baby needs?

Luke, computer gaming expert, is rarely home and can't understand why Shelby won't return his many phone calls or why she is reacting so strangely, especially when their night together was so special.

Learning about the pregnancy, Luke is bound and determined to do the right thing and marry Shelby. But can he make Shelby understand how much he really cares and that together they can solve any problem?

A thoroughly riveting and emotional read, Her Best Friend's Brother, the latest addition to the Tulanes of Tennessee series should not be missed.

    Heartwarming and emotional

Kay Stockham delivers another emotional and heart warming story in Her Best Friend's Brother.

Shelby Brookes always had feelings for her best friend Alex's brother Luke. She had for years tampered them down but one night three months ago she gave into her desires. Now she is tossing her cookies right in front of the man she has been avoiding ever since.

Luke Tulane has had a successful career in computer game development in California. He rarely makes it back home to Tenn to visit his family. Luke is back just three months after his last visit for another family wedding. Luke can't figure out why Shelby is avoiding him until he add two plus two and gets pregnant.

Luke wants to give his baby and Shelby a home but Shelby is resistant. Shelby hadn't had the most stable home life growing up, especially with her drama queen of a Mom. With Shelby fighting Luke at every turn he really has his work cut out for him.

Luke and Shelby's romance is not an easy one. Each is stubborn and have family issues clouding their vision. But this story is so exceptional that you will find yourself going back over it time and time again.

Kay Stockham's books are what romance and life are all about, they touch your soul and don't let go.
