I have noticed that lately dystopian books are spreading like wildfire in the young adult world, but this book is entirely different from any of those books. Not only does it have a unique and fast moving plot, it also has some of the best characters I have ever had the pleasure of reading before- Julia, Reese, and Evan (I challenge you to pick between Reese and Evan, I personally believe it is impossible). It saddens me that Denise has not received the recognition that she deserves- this book is one of the best that I have read this year- much better than any traditionally published book. You can not go wrong in buying this book and reading it. I look forward to book 2 of this series

Sadly I purchased this book on my nook and it didn't tell me the subject, but sitting here on my computer I clearly see it as Teen Fiction. That was going to be my rant. Poorly written and poor grammer. I imagine it's pretty similarly written to the likes of Twilight and Dan Brown books where they're very easy reads that can be completed in a night. This book really doesn't require any thinking or understanding to follow the plot. While I'm ranting, the plot was interesting enough to keep me entertained. I would say it's something like watching a mind numbing action movie that just keeps you entertained. While it's not great or your favorite, it just had enough to say that it was okay.

    Not what was expected

Started out as a romance between teens, then into distopia world. A little far fetched to beleive how the events unfold. Still a good read, keeps you interested.

I really enjoyed the first half, the main character working through the grief and the guilt of her best friend dying, and along the way a romance ignites.

As for the second half, it reminded me entirely too much sci-fi TV show that just finished it's 5th and final season.  For that reason, the book just did not seem that original.

Liked it cant say i loved it though

There was many things i liked about this book the characters were very interested and i thinknthe book takes a.little bit of a turn with the alternate universe thing i was not expecting the plot to being going that way but one of the main things i did not like was the ending it was drawn out and had a boaring ending i was very disapointed in the ending also there were some errors in words in the book but i was quite good
