Sharing the Journey
This book is a wonderful educational selection for learning about American Furniture and the energy and enthusiasm of the Keno brothers is very contagious as you read this book. I was pleasantly suprised at what descriptive and open writers they are. The history of their family and intertwining of their personal and professional lives along with all the treasure hunts and at times almost miraculous 'finds' is very facinating reading. This is a wonderful book if you aren't particularly interested in this topic, you just may spark an interest by the time you are through or at least have a greater appreciation for the value of American Furniture and it's history. If you are already a collector or interested in history, this book is a 'treasure' itself. I hope there is a sequal.

Bravo on a job well done
What is so entrancing about this book is the lovely style of writing that the Kenos have. This is more like a novel you cannot put down rather than a book about furniture. A wonderful book to read on a cold winter night.

Sheer Delight!!
In less than 24 hours I completed this delightful book. For most the thought of reading a 'furniture' book would be ghastly, and especially to those who are total novices to this field of antiquing. I fit into that category, but I assure you that this book is anything but ghastly. The Keno twins have found a way to make reading about American furniture fun! Throughout the book are stories of their wonderful finds, peppered with charming stories of their youth. Their sheer passion for their work comes through on every page. At the same time you realize that you are learning about the world of american antiques and enjoying every moment. Hidden treasures is just that... a hidden treasure in the world of dry and often times boring books on antiquing! Great job!

Hidden Treasures a Delightful Read
'Hidden Treasures' by those delightful Keno brothers is a delightful read. Their enthusiasm for antiques is clearly apparent as each tells treasure hunting furniture stories from their childhood to present. As I read each chapter, I found myself catching their contagious enthusiasm for their discoveries. This book provides thoughtful and engaging insight into the world of antiques and collecting. From the inside of old homes, even barns, to the floor of the great auction houses, we get more than a glimpse into how great furniture treasures find their way into the homes and museums of the great collectors. The Kenos' passion for antiques and furniture is refreshing, and infectious. Any reader of this book is going to be inspired to take a second look in that attic or garage for that one great hidden treasure!
