She shook her head chocked up on words. Tears streamed down her face. She frowned looking down.

    Not a great page turner

this book was ok but not like a lot of books that is exciting from page 1, had book almost finished before you really got to the story of it, I did finish the book and ending was a surprise.

    Sorry I paid full price...

It kept me awake (barely) but I found I was skipping alot just to get to the important and interesting parts. It seems like the author just wanted to cram as much as possible into this book. Also I did not care for her police characters. Is it just me or is there some kind of agreement between authors that they will write female detectives/cops as cold and control freak, hardasses. This seems to becoming the case in every story I read. I would think that with all the imagination they have, maybe one of them could write a policewoman as human instead of these screwed-up, driven, maniacal, ball-busting, comittment phobic, non-nurturing hags. Oh wait, that would make the story new and interesting and we couldn't have that...
