Best cookbook in my collection!

Hip Kosher is a fantastic addition to my cookbook collection. I am so grateful for these practical, simple and DELICIOUS recipes! We don't always eat kosher but often buy kosher foods for humane reasons. Some of our family is kosher so it's not only a terrific gift, it's great to have so many recipes to make for our kosher relatives and friends.
The Chicken with Dates and Toasted Almonds is a family favorite, the spinach pie is outstanding and perfect for our vegetarian friends, and challah french toast is beloved by the children in our family.
Thank you, Ronnie Fein! Keep the cookbooks coming!

    Great basic cookbook

This cookbook is great for basic recipes. It's kind of a "Rachel Ray for Kosher food." The recipes are easy to follow, tasty and the tips are very helpful.

    Great Find

This is unlike any other kosher cookbook I have. The recipes are not the usual recipes that you find in other kosher books. They are smart and also varied and are recipes for the kind of food we like to eat all the time. I have used this book for some time now and have made many of the recipes. They are easy and so many of them are so short that I can make them during the week. I also find that there are a million helpful sidebars. I have given this book as a gift and got lots of thank yous from people. A definite keeper but also a definite one to use frequently. If you buy this, use it. Don't store it away on you bookshelf.

    Hip Kosher Hits the Spot

I am not (especially) hip nor Kosher, but I am interested in creative recipes, simple preparation, healthy food and clear instructions. And if I learn a tidbit about the origin of the dish I am serving, so much the better. Ronnie Fein's book delivers on all fronts. Red Pepper and Vidalia Onion Sandwich, Eggplant with Yogurt and Pine Nuts, Pomegranate-Glazed Turkey London Broil, Chilled Cucumber-Avocado Soup -- I have only tried a few of the mouthwatering recipes in these pages, but my family is eager for more. And that is always a welcome sign. I plan to buy extra copies as gifts, and heartily recommend this book for contemporary cooks of every description.

    Goumet Kosher Cooking

I just purchased this book - what a find! It is filled with creative, 'gourmet', healthy kosher recipes that I know my family will love. Additionally, the author writes in a clear manner that makes me feel like I can try any of the recipes that attract me - none will be too hard to execute. At this point, I have only tried the Carrot and Parsnip soup recipe, but based on the results and my family's raves, I am confident that the rest of the book will be just as rewarding.
