I really love the series but jeez, it starts out a little boring and as soon as it starts getting good I am left hanging probably for another month. Wished I had waited until the series ended to read it all at once. Bad enough I pay so much for one book or probably a trilogy and can't even get to enjoy it for what its worth. Think it is being padded a little bit too. Just give us a story and stop trying to milk us readers by charging us for a book that you cant seem to know how you want it to end. A little disappointed so please just get to the story and stop dragging it out. Already 10 'books' at $2.99 a piece, come on now.

I began this series because it was recommended by the Nookies (that's what I call the elves that live in my Nook thst tell me what to read next based on books that I've previously enjoyed). Having just read 50 Shades and Bared To You, a new genre for me that I rather enjoy, I bought the first in the series. It was inexpensive and poorly edited, but the storyline drew me in. I chose to overlook the small stuff. I think I paid $1.99 for just under 200 pages. (I've read quite a few books since then, so I could be mistaken, but that seems right). Now, I just paid over $3 for 77 pages....seriously?! This is getting ridiculous. I LOVE THE STORY, don't get me wrong, but these aren't even books anymore. If I weren't emotionally invested, I'd stop reading this series. But the characters are great, the story is fantastic, there's just not enough of it. C'mon lady, you have talent, use it to write an actual book. You could have hit a homerun with this one, but instead everyone feels like they're being ripped off...knock it off already. I will say that I will, without question, finish this series because I do love the characters, but I think I will avoid this author in the future.

    Disappointing, but will keep reading

Even though this series is 50 Shades knock-off of low quality and poorly edited there are glimpses of characters that could be better developed. I will continue to follow, reluctantly, as I love the genre now. Cost is higher than appropriate. This 10th "book" -- chapter really -- is best so far. Cliffhanger ending resolution expectations are high for 11th.
